Happy International Women's Day 2018!

I.T. has been traditionally a male dominated industry but we are excited to see more women enter the I.T. workforce and we encourage women to look at I.T. as a great career choice. I.T. is fast paced, constantly evolving, full of opportunities and is extremely rewarding!

Fern, one of our IT Support Engineers, has been with us for 2 years and was initially attracted in to I.T. as a teenager - 

“I always loved solving problems and combined with a love of messing about on my computer at home, I realised that I.T. would be a good career choice to combine both those interests. I studied Systems and Networking in Sligo I.T. and even though I was one of 5 girls out of a class of 38, I never felt out of place or felt intimidated by the thoughts of working in what is classed traditionally as a male dominated industry. I’ve loved every minute of it since and would encourage other girls to look in to studying I.T.!”
